Jay Dyer
Eastern Orthodox apologist; the presuppositional case as Debby most often meets it
Jay Dyer argues a transcendental case for God: that logic, mathematics, universals and moral obligation are not brute features of the world but presuppose a personal, intelligent ground, and that only a Triune God supplies one. He presses rivals — materialism, nominalism, Islamic occasionalism, Protestant sola scriptura — on whether their own foundations can account for the reasoning they are performing while objecting.
Debby's corpus contains more Dyer material than any other single interlocutor, which is a fact about the founder's research path and not an endorsement. He is the most frequent live source for the argument family Debby is testing hardest.
He is treated here as a proponent whose arguments are reconstructed at their strongest and then held to the same rubric as every rival. Where his case succeeds, the map says so. Where the map cannot close it, the map says that instead — and currently it says that more often than a partisan page would admit.
Why Debby cites them
The transcendental argument is the load-bearing case in Debby's own tradition. Getting its strongest contemporary formulation exactly right — before critique — is the precondition for every verdict downstream of it.

- ◆OTC-000 fixes the shared transcendental core across two primary videos, but the paradigm-level claim still omits defended world-directed, rival-exhaustion, Trinity, Christianity and Orthodox bridges. The argument as stated does not yet reach the conclusion it is offered for.
- ◆OTC-001: even granting that logical belief is unavoidable, the step from required belief to mind-independent logical reality — and from there to a uniquely divine ground — is not established. Gila Sher's formal-law model remains a coherent-enough candidate countermodel.
- ◆OTC-022: TAG as Dyer runs it treats morality as load-bearing alongside epistemology and metaphysics, but the retorsive argument for a *categorical* ought is incomplete. Binding force is `ARGUMENT_INCOMPLETE` under the original burden.
- ◆No adjudicated finding that generic theism narrows to Christianity, or Christianity to Eastern Orthodoxy, on transcendental grounds alone.
