Ashʿarism
The dominant classical Sunni theological school. On God it affirms real eternal attributes “neither He nor other than He”; on action, kasb. In this corpus it is the first Islamic rival steelmanned against Trinity — sharing a cardinality-underdetermination cost, not a strawman “unitarian god”.
Ashʿarism is the classical Sunni school associated with al-Ashʿarī: real eternal attributes, kasb, a strong emphasis on divine command. Debby treats it as a school, not as "Islam." Māturīdī concurrentism and Avicennian Necessary-Existent metaphysics are different rivals and are tested separately.
OTC-003 found a genuine non-Trinitarian plurality-in-unity ("neither He nor other than He") that shares Trinity's cardinality-underdetermination cost and lacks independently documented eternal internal relatedness among the attributes — an unresolved-premise gap, not a refutation. OTC-022 found kasb is not crude determinism. Uniqueness-to-EO still has to defeat this rival on the actual arguments, not a generic unitarian stand-in.
The mistaken everyday reading is "Sunni equals Ashʿarī equals occasionalist fatalism." That is three collapses, each of which this corpus has already blocked.
